About City of Hornell Housing Authority

Established in 1966, the City of Hornell Housing Authority owns and operates 158 units of Housing under asset management principles established by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Authority's current Developments include Church Street Court, Sawyer Street Site, Hillside Manor, and 9 Single Family Homes throughout the City of Hornell. The Authority also operates a Tenant based Section Eight Housing Choice Voucher Program, assisting 134 households on a monthly basis. Our staff operates in an efficient, ethical, and professional manner supporting those in need move toward economic self-sufficiency.
